Orroland is a traditional Scottish lowland farm overlooking the Solway Firth in the heart of rural Dumfries and Galloway, south west Scotland and with panoramic sea views which are nothing short of breathtaking. Orroland is set apart from the hustle and bustle of busy roads and street lights, however the nearby towns of Kirkcudbright, Castle Douglas and Dalbeattie are just 15 to 20 minutes away by car.

Orroland Lodge is unique amongst large holiday homes in Scotland, thanks in large part to its splendid coastal location. Enjoy the spacious, elegant and comfortable accommodation in this former shooting lodge. Relax on the sheltered, sunny terrace and feast your eyes on the views across the Solway Firth to the Cumbrian mountains. You are a stone's throw from the steep wooded slope leading down to the private rocky shoreline, where you will find driftwood to collect and rock pools and caves to discover. The large flat rocks are ideal for barbecues, picnics and sunbathing.
