Charles and Ros Walmsley would like to welcome you to Beaumont and our two one-bedroomed cottages “Wastwater” and “Elterwater”, set in a large garden surrounding our elegant Victorian home.

We have glorious views to the fells from our elevated location. Watch the sunset from the garden tables and chairs while sipping a glass of wine. The cottages are configured with the open-plan kitchen/living/dining room on the first floor to provide the best vantage for the view.

Our cottages are ideally located for that perfect Lake District holiday! Both Windermere and Bowness (Lake Windermere) are within easy walking distance. There are many excellent restaurants and pubs nearby. There is a quality supermarket by Windermere railway station which will provide you with all your catering needs.

Both cottages have modern kitchens (including fridge/freezer and washer/drier) and have been redecorated to a high standard. Colour TV, radio and video are installed. There is full central heating throughout. Linen is provided, but please bring your own towels. The bedroom has a recently refurbished shower room. There is space to set up a full-size z-bed or cot if required....
