Apple Tree House is a very spacious, warm, sandstone terraced cottage in the quiet village of Ullock, just 4 miles from Loweswater and surrounding fells, with the stunning Ennerdale and Crummock Lakes close-by. This is the quiet, and many would say the most picturesque side of the Lakes, with many beautiful fells, lakes and tarns to explore.

Recently refurbished to a high standard the cottage has a dining kitchen and two double bedrooms upstairs, one en-suite with a large shower. The other double is arranged as a twin. There is a separate bathroom downstairs and central heating throughout. The rear garden faces south and is a sun trap from mid -morning.

The quaint market town of Cockermouth is a 10 minute drive and Keswick about 20 minutes. There are excellent pubs close by, the nearest in the village of Dean roughly 10 minutes walk or two minutes drive. The acclaimed Kirkstyle Inn is 10 minutes drive. Buttermere, Pillar, Eskdale and Wasdale are very accessible for the more accomplished walkers or climbers. Dogs are welcome by arrangement, but sorry, no smokers.
