Squirrel Cottage is a charming pink cottage in the centre of a small terrace of three, situated on a private driveway, tucked away near the end of a quiet country lane. The cottage has off road parking and is in easy walking distance from the famous Snape Maltings. The cottage is perfectly situated for exploring the Suffolk heritage coast on foot, cycle or by car with the beautiful seaside towns of Aldeburgh and Southwold only a short distance away. Snape is an area of outstanding natural beauty famous for it’s forest walks, salt marshes and wide esturies. The RSPB have also just purchased several hectares of land 2 minutes away from the cottage, which will be returned to their natural state of marsh/wetlands, the natural habitat for Bittern and Marsh Harriers.

The sitting/dining room is a cosy, comfortably furnished room with a wood-burning stove (for which a basket of logs is provided), Colour TV, DVD, CD/cassette radio and dining table seating up to six. There is also a small reading room downstairs with a single futon which doubles as a third bedroom.
