The Haven is situated in the heart of Gunnerside, enjoying a peaceful setting with views of Swaledale. It is ideally positioned for walking, mountain biking, sight seeing or simply relaxing in a tranquil atmosphere. Situated within the Yorkshire Dales National Park, a designated area of outstanding natural beauty, the cottage is also within easy reach of the Yorkshire Moors and Lake District, and has an abundance of places to visit, from castles to waterfalls. A traditional dales village pub and tearoom/bistro are within 100 yards of the cottage, with Reeth and Richmond providing easily accessible facilities. The local shop and good pub food are three miles away.

Recently renovated to retain its original charm, it has exposed beams, stone flags, and wood burning stove, the Haven is tastefully furnished and decorated to a high standard – including central heating, with radiators in each room upstairs and under floor heating on the ground floor, providing warmed flags. There is a well-equipped kitchen/dining room (including microwave), two good-sized bedrooms (one double, one twin) and a family bathroom (with shaving point, bath and shower). In addition travel cot, TV with DVD player and CD player/radio are also provided....
