Troutbeck Cottage is a lovely traditional Lakeland stone cottage which dates from the 19th century. It is located in the charming hamlet of Troutbeck Bridge, in the heart of the English Lake District between Ambleside and Windermere. Our cottage has been lovingly refurbished to provide comfortable self catering holiday aommodation for up to four people. Troutbeck Cottage is ideal for couples and small families looking for a relaxing break and offers an excellent base from which to explore this beautiful area of England.

The comfortable lounge has a traditional Lakeland slate open fire, and is equipped with a widescreen TV, DVD/CD player and a video recorder. There are also plenty of books, maps and information about the Lake District. Also on the ground floor there is a new fitted kitchen-cum-dining room which is well equipped with an electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge and dining table and chairs. Upstairs, the main double bedroom is at the front of the house and has lovely views towards Claife Heights.
