Welcome to 'Harberry' close to Penrith and an ideal base to explore the Eden Valley, the Northern Lake District and Pennine Hills. Penrith is 12 miles and Alston, the highest market town in England is only 9 miles away. Long Meg and her Daughters, one of England's finest Stone Circles and Little Meg cairn circle is just down the road near Little Salkheld. The Village shop & pub are only 3 miles away. There are traditional English Maypoles at Temple Sowerby and the nearby village of Milburn. Hadrian's Wall and Carlisle are a short drive away. If you would like to do some shopping Newcastle and the Metro Centre are about one hours drive away.

Our ground floor, self catering studio apartment is comfortably furnished and well equipped, overlooking a quiet stream at the bottom of the garden with views across the open countryside. It is the perfect place to enjoy the sunshine, have an evening barbecue and just relax. The apartment has recently been refurbished and extended in a restful style and provides most modern comforts including central heating, lighting, colour TV, fridge freezer, microwave, electric oven, bed linen and towels.
