The living area has a comfortable suite, pine dining table and chairs and flat screen television with tele-text. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and electrically heated towel rail. The bedroom has a king size double bed, which can be divided to comprise two small singles. All linen, towels and tea-towels are provided as well as radio alarm clock and hair-dryer. Heating is provided by thermostatically controlled wall-mounted electric convector heaters.
The cosy conversion has 1 double bedroom room, bathroom,with shower and lounge/kitchen.
The garden has a summer house, garden furniture and barbecue.
A footpath across fields leads to Hailsham town centre, approximately half a mile, where there are two supermarkets, a small cinema, restored in recent years and a sports centre with swimming pool, gymnasium and bowling alley. Hailsham has a cattle market on Wednesdays, a general market with varied stalls on Fridays and a Farmers Market on the second Saturday in every month where local produce can be purchased.
A bus service passes the top of Harebeating Lane (300 yards) to Eastbourne (8 miles) via Hailsham (1 mile) and Polegate (4 miles) where the main line train terminates at Victoria Station, London, via Gatwick, (1 hr. 20 mins).
