There are some wonderful Adnams pubs close by, including the Eels Foot in Eastbridge itself, which is just a 200 yard walk away. It has great food, a garden and a small children's playground.
The cottage was a second home to us when our children were young, and has a family feel about it. There is a sheltered patio at the back and a garden to the side, overlooking a water meadow straight out of a Constable painting.
Leiston (3 miles away) has all the shops you might need and there are plenty of good restaurants around. There is a wonderful bakers called Smiths, in Leiston, just opposite the cinema... lovely, old-fashioned, white bread. There is a grocers called Baker Bros also in Leiston, which sells the most delicious ham on the bone. Highly recommended.
