The river Bure (in its early stage) runs through the hamlet and all around are lovely views, walks and attractive villages. The unspoilt village of Heydon, used in the making of many films including "The Go Between" is 2 miles, The National Trust Bickling Hall is 5 miles and for those seaside days out the coast is around twelve miles away. There is a shop in the nearby village of Corpusty (half a mile) as well as a pub. There are several good eating out pubs/restaurants in the locality. | | | |

There is an enclosed patio with tables and chairs and off road parking for one car. There are two cafes, pub, shop and restaurant all within 150 yards.
The local area is noted for its unspoilt coast and countryside, walking, cycling, bird and nature reserves. Within close proximity are Felbrigg Hall, Blickling Hall, Sheringham Park, Splash Leisure Centre, Cromer Pier and theatre, Poppyline Steam Railway, golf courses and Broadland villages.
Seymour Cottage offers 1 double with ensuite bathroom with shower over, 1 twin, downstairs separate shower room and toilet, lounge, dining room, separate kitchen. A cot is also available on request. The property has gas central heating, hot water on demand and an open fire for cosy winter nights. Fuel for the fire is not included in the pricing but can be purchased at the local Garden Centre.

Situated in a small village, just a few miles from the sandy beaches of the Norfolk coast, the cottage is ideally placed for exploring both the coast and the Norfolk Broads. There are pretty 'cottage' gardens to the front and rear of the property. Well equipped inside, the cottage has 3 floors with one double bedroom in the eves of the thatched roof, one twin bedroom on the first floor and on the ground floor a kitchen and sitting room with dining area.
We've had the cottage for about 5 years now and eveyone who has stayed there has thoroughy enjoyed it

Now the narrow street sees very little traffic and is entirely residential but some of the shop windows remain to tell of the streets history.
When the cottage was completely renovated in the 1980's, the first task was to clear approximately 1/2 a ton of shoe leather out of the front room. Many of the original features have been retained including the beamed ceiling and exposed chalk wall in the lounge/dining room. A small collection of Lasts can be found around the cottage.
The large front room features Freesat TV & DVD Player, 2 comfy sofas & dining area for 4 people. A woodburner styled electric fire supplements the gas central heating.
A well-equipped kitchen looks out onto a fully enclosed rear garden with barbeque and garden furniture to help you to relax in the afternoon and evening sun. The kitchen includes electric cooker, microwave, fridge, washing machine, breakfast table & chairs & there is a downstairs cloakroom & toilet off the rear lobby.
The Cottage offers 1 large bedroom with double bed, and a smaller bedroom which has therefore been furnished with adult size bunk beds which are the same size as single beds. There is a separate handbasin in this room. The bathroom has been refurbished recently and features toilet, handbasin & bath.
We provide duvets & pillows but you will need to bring your own bedlinen & towels.
Cobblers Cottage is situated away from the bustle of the quay but within 5 minutes easy walk of shops, pubs and restaurants.

The living area has a beamed ceiling, and is L shaped with the oak dining table and chairs seating 6 in the kitchen area which is near the back door to the garden. Kitchen is well equipped. Pick and eat the in season fruit (apples, plums, pears, figs, grapes) and vegetables growing in the kitchen garden, The garden has a wooden table and chairs under the fruit trees, and a bbq. By separate arrangement horses are also welcome and can be stabled in the courtyard stables or put in a paddock for their holiday too. This attractive period cottage is just a mile from the sandy, clean and unspoilt beach. It is pleasantly set back from the main coastal road through Thornham, which links all of North Norfolk's coastal villages. To the rear of the cottage is an enclosed, south-facing small courtyard patio with a lawn garden area at the front.
The village Deli-shop is within walking distance and open every day serving breakfast and light lunches. Nearby is a childrens play area and a tennis court.There are three attractive country pubs which serve bar meals; the well patronised 16th century Smugglers Ale house, the Lifeboat Inn, is renowned for its cuisine and also provide a popular restaurant. The Orange Tree is a contemporary dining pub, listed in 2009 in the top 20 of dining pubs in the UK (Eat Out Magazine).
Thornham has small harbour, mile of secluded sandy beaches and is in an area renowned for its natural beauty. The adjacent village of Titchwell provides excellent bird-watching facilities over salt marshes and Brancaster Staithe has a sailing club with regular ferry trips to Scolt Head at the harbour. The lively seaside town of Hunstanton is just 5 miles distant, with plenty of attractions for the whole family .Both Hunstanton And Brancaster have golf courses adjoining the beach.
