It is a beautiful walking area with several of the national trails crossing the village, taking advantage of the beautiful River Parrett and the start of the Parrett Trail.

WOOD BARN 1 is a single storey barn conversion with a LARGE SOUTH FACING CONSERVATORY which is ideal for enjoying a quiet book or snooze on any less favourable days. It has a large loung/dining room with ample comfortable seating, a good selection of books, puzzles and games. A large and sunny fully fitted breakfast kitchen looks out over our own small orchard and paddock where roe dear are frequently seen grazing in small groups. There is also an abundance of visiting garden birds to watch. The bathroom has toilet and basin, full size bath plus a walk in shower cuicle. There is also a separate toilet and basin.
There are two good sized bedrooms one has a FOUR POSTER BED and the other two singles. Both bedrooms have wardrobes with plenty of hanging space.

The house is one of a pair of old houses built of Portland stone, inside are some 17th-18th century features . It is on three floors and can accommodate up to six (4 adults and 2 children).
At the end of the prom - 5/10 minutes walk, there is a cove which is very pleasant, and safe for children and for bathing. There is a nice cafe there. The pub on the prom is family-friendly and does good food.
Enjoy the grand scenery, formed mainly of cliff sides and disused stone quarries. The wildlife is renowned. Ensure you get to Portland Bill - we recommend the cafe there!
