The location of the cottage is approximately 200yards from the coastal pathway with views out over Newton's Cove and across the bay to Portland.
The coastal path meanders on through the Nothe Gardens and leads to the Nothe Fort, a great venue for both young and old to enjoy the day with glorious views across Weymouth bay.
From here a stroll on down to the old quay, taking in the sites and sounds of a busy fishing port, or taking the rowing ferry across to the other side and onto the sandy beach with all its seaside attractions.
One of the many attractions available nearby is Brewers Quay, where you can find a selection of small interesting shops, surrounded by a choice of restaurants, bistros, pubs and tea shops, to sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere of the harbour.
The rise and fall bridge located a short distance from the old quay takes you on into the main shopping area of Weymouth.
Gardeners Cottage -
The cottage comprises on the first floor a bathroom separating the two bedrooms, the double bedroom having a large fitted wardrobe and the smaller having two single beds with wardrobe.
On the ground floor the sitting room has comfortable seating for four persons with TV / DVD player etc. The kitchen is fitted with most modern facilities for cooking, fridge/freezer, washing machine, etc.
The kitchen leads out into the conservatory / dining room and on out into the small garden, this is split into two levels with three steps leading up to the rotary clothes line and rear gate.
The cottage has a private off road parking space and access is gained from the car park via six steps.
The cottage unfortunately is not suitable for any one with mobility problems.
Summary -
The location of the cottage does lend itself perfectly for those who wish to either walk, cycle, or generally discover the surrounding area.
With all of the local attractions and places of interest to visit, the chances of not having a busy and eventful holiday are slim, the only thing we can't tell you, is what the weather has to offer.

There is a recreation room which includes video library (500+) book library, various indoor / outdoor games to borrow and a table football etc. The farm is within easy reach of Cerne Abbas, the ancient abbey town of Sherborne and the historic market town of Dorchester. Also within easy travelling distance are many lovely coastal attractions including Lulworth Cove, Weymouth and Lyme Regis. Many good local inns are close by and we are only a few hundred yards from the well recommended "Hunters Moon" pub. Up to 2 well behaved dogs welcome per cottage at no additional cost (must not be left unattended).
Toad Hall has two bedrooms. One double bedroom and one twin bedroom. The front door opens into the lounge with the dining area at the back and a kitchen off to the side. The kitchen is fully equipped providing everything that we think you will need for your holiday. There is a shower room at the rear of the cottage.
